Youth Leadership Development Program YLDP 2025

The Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) is designed to enhance leadership capacities of emerging youth leaders by equipping them with a unique set of skills required to better achieve their aspirations and fulfil their desired role in society. It is a deliberate non-partisan project reflecting political pluralism and pluralistic societies through promoting the core ideas and values of social democracy - freedom, justice and solidarity.

The 2025 YLDP was focused on equipping young leaders on many topics which also included:

• Project Management and Conflict Management
• Democracy in Theory and Practice
• Gender Justice, Ideology and Political Thinking
• Fundamentals of Economy and Globalisation

This years YLDP graduation was graced by the presence of Mr. Alexander Rosenplänter from the Department of Sub-Sahara-Africa of the Friedrich Ebert Foundation in Berlin, Germany.
